I will defend you / River Clean

I will defend you/River Clean - I was artist-in-residence in a old Victorian Defence Tower in Cushendall, Ireland. Its a beautiful town, totally unspoiled by crap art. I felt incredibly paternal and deferent toward it and its lovely inhabitants. I decided that, while I was in residence, I would do all I could to defend them, against whatever ills they had, whatever they felt they needed defending from. As a parting gift, I woke early one Sunday morning and cleaned their river from the detritus of the modern world.
