I have a difficult relationship with art. I think that is because 'art' is fundamentally an amorphous thing – it’s the thing that constantly “challenges our perceptual habits” (L Magor). But sometimes gets formatted into galleries and museums and other institutions, and there begins to be expectations of what art should be, what it should look like...

I suppose this part of my practice looks at what I think the expectations of art are, and then tries to unsettle them. I’m not sure if I succeed, but I usually have a lot of fun.
