I explore this project in more depth here. The project resulted in many different 'outcomes' from academic discussions, physical objects and many, many memories and explorations of 'fatherhood'. I was offered the chance to do a publication that drew all these thinkings together and jumped at the chance... not because I wanted something to show-off with (though, I am immensely proud of the project) but rather because I was interested in how projects can continue to be useful once they are complete. The publication intended to keep the conversations going and as such was designed as a resource that could be used by different groups who might feel it important to explore the role of fatherhood. Half of the publications were distributed to the Family Centre's around Aberdeenshire to ensure the knowledge did not become fixed in an 'art publication' but was living, responsive knowledge. The book is still available here
